Make Billionaires Pay

Make Billionaires Pay

Following on from Labor Day, which was focused on the hard workers that build America & the necessity for unions and collective bargaining, we are coming out to Martin to Make Billionaires Pay! Billionaires should not be allowed to pay less in taxes than our nation's middle class, while hoarding 8 times more wealth than the poorest 50% of American households. Do you agree?

Billionaires drain the wealth, life, and soul out of every community they touch; they never contribute back to the world as it suffers under their thumbs. It's time to tax the rich and return our country's wealth to the people who labored endlessly to build it.

Protect immigrants, who are the backbone of America's working class. This nation is dependent on immigrants to work jobs that the privileged don't want to endure. Now billionaires are willing to discard the very hard-working people who produced the goods and provided the services which resulted in the unearned wealth of the owner class. Billionaires don't work, billionaires don't produce, billionaires do not serve.

Save our planet, not the bottom line. Climate change is unanimously agreed upon by every academic and scientific institution in the world, but that's not where it ends. Global warming, as it was originally coined, was a field of research for the fossil fuel industry giants Shell & Exxon decades ago. Their own documents come to the same conclusion; climate change is real, and almost entirely caused by fossil fuels. In the 90s, we discovered a growing hole in the ozone layer which threatened the survival of our planet. Soon after, science provided solutions to repair that hole and today we no longer suffer the consequences of our actions from that particular scare. We can reverse climate change too, by holding billionaires accountable for their role in killing us all.
